01 Dec 2017 - motorcyclke cleaning
It’s weekends again!!! You should go for a ride, but the weather is not your favorite. So what are you going to do to together with your loved bike? Clean it.
Most of us will say no to it, but to keep it what you love – and retain its value – you need to put yourself into giving it more than a 99p shower at the local jet-wash.
If you wanna it be what it was, you will need a variety of cleaners – and a bit of elbow grease.
We’ve broken the process into several stages to let you better and easier clean each part of your bike.
1: BODYWORK
Jet-washing your motorbike first, the nozzle must be over eight inches away from your loved one as the water coming out with strong power. Never point it at the wheel spindles, swingarm or headstock, etc.!!!
Using a de-greaser to clean the grimy parts, especially the bellypan, before shampooing them. Choosing a a low acidic content shampoo. Cleaning by a soft cloth and make sure it’s perforated. Coating the bike with a high-gloss wax and buff to a shine.
There’s no substitute for a bit of elbow grease here.

2: FORKS
If you just enjoy water spray in the first process, you should put yourself into forks cleanning as it require all your attention as they’re often deeply dusted.
De-greaser works well after a jet-wash, but don’t leave it on for too long, especially in warm conditions – it can stain forks in just five minutes if the weather’s hot.
De-greaser works well after a jet-wash, but don’t keep it on for too long, especially in warm condition – it can stain forks less than five minutes if the tempreture is high.
A radiator brush is most important to getting into all the hard-washing parts. Most DIY stores can offer that.

3: CHAIN
Contary to popular opinion, it is possible to clean a chain – but it’s vital that you thoroughly lube it afterwardsIt is not so easy to clean a chain, and harder but vital that you thoroughly lube it afterwards.
Any toothbrush may can remove all the old lube and grime. Never use a jet-wash on it as maybe all internal oil would be blowed out.
Lube the chain again as soon as you can if you hose it with the jet-wash by mistake.

4: WHEELS
Jet-wash the wheels before applying a de-greaser. Again, use a radiator brush to clean around the spindle.Slightly jet-washing the wheels. Using a radiator brush to clean around the spindle or spokes.
To clean the back wheel, put your bike on its centrestand (or paddock stand), shampoo the wheels using soft cloth.
If your bike has smooth wheel rims, use a high-gloss wax to create a shine.
Or if they have a slightly rough surface – like Ducatis – use silicone spray.

5: EXHAUST
Exhausts can get covered in all sorts of grime from the rear wheel and the heat can bake it on.Exhausts will be covered in all sorts of grime from the rear wheel, rear fender, and the heat can bake it on.
You can put tyre and glue remover to get rid of bits of rubber, or you can try spraying furniture polish – leaving it around 20 minutes and wiping it off.
Pls be noted there’s a danger of scratching, so use a new and soft cloth. Be careful!
Btw, downpipes will be buffed up with a bit of chrome polish and your great effort.

6: SWINGARM
Painted or polished aluminium swingarms will stain easily with shampoo, so make sure you water it down more than normal.Painted or polished aluminium swingarms will stain easily with shampoo, so make sure you doubled or tripled the shampoo you use.
Again, using a de-greaser first covered with a radiator brush, which will get in among the shock and swingarm. Finishing off with a high-gloss wax for the best effect.

7: SCREEN
You don’t want to scratch the screen, so always use a fresh cloth and not the one you’ve just used to clean the swingarm.Using a new and soft cloth! Using a new and soft cloth! Using a new and soft cloth!
Use a normal car shampoo, put all your concentration! Never let it dry under the sun!
If the shampoo, leave a residue, it will cost you even more effort to remove.
