How OUMURS handles personal information on www.oumurs.com

Effective August 5, 2026  |  Version 1.0

Plain-language summary
OUMURS uses personal information to operate the store, fulfill orders, provide customer service and safety support, prevent fraud, improve the Site, and—where permitted—market products. You may have rights and choices depending on where you live.

1. Scope and who we are

This Privacy & Cookie Policy describes how OUMURS ACCESSORY INDUSTRIAL LIMITED (also known as “OUMURS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when you visit or use www.oumurs.com, buy or review a product, contact us, request a return or warranty service, subscribe to marketing, or otherwise interact with us through channels that link to this policy (collectively, the “Services”).

OUMURS is the business responsible for the processing described in this policy, except where another company explains that it acts independently. The Site is hosted on Shopify. Shopify and other providers may process personal information for OUMURS as service providers or processors and, for certain features such as Shop or Shop Pay, may also process information independently under their own privacy notices.

This policy does not cover an unrelated retailer, marketplace, social network, payment service, or other third party acting under its own privacy policy. If you buy from a third-party seller, review that seller’s privacy notice as well.

2. Personal information we collect

Information you provide

· Contact and account information. Name, email address, telephone number, account credentials, communication preferences, and account profile information.

· Order and transaction information. Products viewed or purchased, order number, billing and delivery address, discounts, tax, transaction status, returns, refunds, and warranty history.

· Payment information. Payment method and transaction details. Payment providers generally process full card or account numbers; OUMURS generally receives a token, limited payment details, and status rather than the complete payment credential.

· Communications. Messages, support requests, survey responses, call or chat details, and information you provide when reporting delivery, product, fit, safety, return, or warranty concerns.

· Reviews and content. Ratings, reviews, photographs, videos, social-media handles, contest entries, and other content you choose to submit.

· Marketing preferences. Subscriptions, consent records, opt-outs, interests, and interactions with marketing messages.

Information collected automatically

· Device and network information, such as IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, language, approximate location inferred from IP, and network or connection information;

· Usage information, such as pages and products viewed, searches, referring and exit pages, links or messages interacted with, session timing, and actions taken on the Site;

· Cookie, pixel, tag, local-storage, and similar technology data; and

· Security and fraud signals, such as login, checkout, device, address, payment, and behavioral indicators used to protect customers and transactions.

Information from other sources

We may receive personal information from Shopify; payment and fraud-prevention providers; marketplaces and authorized retailers; delivery and fulfillment partners; analytics and advertising providers; social networks; affiliate or influencer programs; identity or address-verification services; and publicly available sources, where permitted by law.

3. Why we use personal information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

· Provide the Services and perform contracts. Process payment, confirm and fulfill orders, arrange delivery, manage accounts, provide order updates, and administer returns, refunds, warranties, and other requested services.

· Customer and safety support. Respond to questions, troubleshoot issues, verify claims, investigate possible defects, maintain warranty records, provide safety notices, and administer recalls or corrective actions.

· Personalize and improve. Remember settings, recommend products, understand Site use, test features, measure performance, perform analytics, and improve products, instructions, support, and the shopping experience.

· Marketing and advertising. Send marketing you requested, measure campaigns, understand audiences, and show or help others show advertising that may be more relevant, subject to consent and opt-out rights.

· Security and integrity. Authenticate users, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse, account compromise, prohibited resale, cyber incidents, and other unlawful or harmful activity.

· Legal and business administration. Maintain financial and transaction records, comply with law and valid legal process, enforce agreements, establish or defend legal claims, protect rights and safety, conduct audits, obtain professional advice, and support a merger, financing, reorganization, or transfer of business assets.

4. Legal bases where applicable

Some laws require us to identify a legal basis for processing. Depending on the context, we rely on one or more of the following:

· Performance of a contract or steps requested before entering a contract, such as processing an order or return;

· Compliance with a legal obligation, such as tax, accounting, product-safety, recall, and legal-process requirements;

· Our legitimate interests or those of others, such as operating and improving the Services, preventing fraud, securing systems, supporting customers, measuring performance, and protecting legal rights, where those interests are not overridden by your rights;

· Consent, such as for certain marketing, cookies, or advertising technologies, which you may withdraw where applicable; and

· Other bases permitted by applicable law, including protecting vital interests or handling legal claims.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

OUMURS, Shopify, and selected partners use cookies, pixels, tags, software development kits, local storage, and similar technologies. These technologies may be session-based or persistent and may recognize a browser or device across visits.

· Strictly necessary. Operate checkout, remember cart contents, maintain security, authenticate users, prevent fraud, and provide functions you request.

· Functional. Remember preferences and provide enhanced features.

· Analytics. Measure visits, interactions, performance, and errors so we can understand and improve the Services.

· Advertising. Measure campaigns, limit repetition, build audiences, and deliver or help deliver interest-based or targeted advertising.

Where required, non-essential technologies are used only after consent. You can use the cookie banner or preference center available on the Site to change choices. Browser controls can also block or delete cookies, but doing so may affect features. Your settings may be browser- and device-specific.

6. Targeted advertising; sale or sharing

OUMURS does not sell personal information for money. However, when advertising cookies, pixels, or related services are enabled, disclosing identifiers and internet activity to advertising or analytics partners may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for targeted advertising under some U.S. state laws, even when no money changes hands.

Where applicable, you may opt out through the “Your Privacy Choices” or data-sharing opt-out link on the Site, by using the cookie preference center, or by emailing contact@oumurs.com. We will also process a legally recognized opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, for the browser or device from which it is sent where required by law. Because opt-outs for cookies and browser-based advertising may be device- and browser-specific, you may need to set the preference separately on each browser or device you use. We do not knowingly sell or share for targeted advertising the personal information of consumers under 16.

7. How we disclose personal information

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients for the purposes described above:

· Commerce and technology providers. Shopify, hosting, cloud, security, account, communications, customer-support, analytics, and information-technology providers.

· Transaction and operations providers. Payment processors, banks, fraud-prevention services, warehouses, fulfillment providers, carriers, customs brokers, product-inspection or warranty providers, and address-verification services.

· Marketing and advertising partners. Email, SMS, affiliate, social-media, audience, analytics, and advertising providers, subject to applicable choices and consent requirements.

· Professional and institutional recipients. Lawyers, accountants, auditors, insurers, lenders, and other advisers subject to appropriate duties.

· Authorities and other parties for legal reasons. Courts, regulators, law enforcement, product-safety agencies, or other parties when we reasonably believe disclosure is required or permitted by law, needed for a recall or safety matter, or necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or prevent fraud.

· Corporate transaction parties. Potential or actual buyers, investors, lenders, advisers, and successors involved in a merger, financing, restructuring, sale, bankruptcy, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate confidentiality where required.

· At your direction. Other recipients when you ask us to disclose information or provide valid consent.

Service providers may use personal information only to provide contracted services and for other limited purposes permitted by law and contract. Some third parties, including certain payment services, Shopify consumer features, marketplaces, and social networks, may independently determine how they use information; their privacy notices apply to that independent processing.

8. International processing and transfers

OUMURS is based in Hong Kong, and OUMURS, Shopify, and other service providers may process personal information in Hong Kong, the United States, Canada, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other countries where they operate. Privacy laws in those places may differ from the laws where you live.

Where applicable law requires transfer safeguards, we use recognized contractual or other lawful mechanisms and take steps appropriate to the nature of the information and processing. You may contact us for more information about safeguards relevant to your personal information, subject to legal and confidentiality limits.

9. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide orders and accounts; maintain product, warranty, safety, recall, tax, and transaction records; comply with law; resolve disputes; prevent fraud; and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type and sensitivity of information, the product lifecycle and safety need, the relationship with you, legal limitation periods, contractual requirements, and whether the information can be deleted, aggregated, or deidentified.

When personal information is no longer required, we delete or deidentify it, or securely isolate it until deletion is possible. Backup copies may remain for a limited period under standard recovery schedules. Deidentified or aggregated information that cannot reasonably identify you may be retained and used for lawful purposes.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Protect your password, avoid sending sensitive payment credentials by email, and contact us if you believe your account or information has been compromised.

11. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and subject to legal conditions and exceptions, you may have rights to:

· Know whether we process personal information and obtain access to it;

· Request correction of inaccurate personal information;

· Request deletion of personal information;

· Receive certain information in a portable format;

· Opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling;

· Limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information;

· Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent;

· Object to or restrict certain processing;

· Appeal a refusal to act on a request, where applicable; and

· Receive equal service and not be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right.

Hong Kong residents may request access to and correction of personal data in accordance with applicable law. You may also require us to stop using your personal data for direct marketing.

12. How to exercise your rights

Email contact@oumurs.com with the subject “Privacy Request” and state your request, name, email address, country or U.S. state of residence, and your relationship with OUMURS. For opt-outs involving browser-based advertising, also use the Site’s “Your Privacy Choices” or cookie settings so the preference can be applied to that browser or device.

We may verify your identity by matching information we already hold or requesting additional information appropriate to the risk. If we cannot verify a request, we will explain why. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted, but we may require proof of authority and direct identity verification. We may retain a record of the request as required or permitted by law.

If we deny a request and your law provides an appeal right, reply to our decision with the subject “Privacy Appeal.” You may also contact the privacy or consumer-protection authority available where you live.

13. California and other U.S. state disclosures

The categories of personal information we may have collected in the preceding 12 months are described in Section 2 and include identifiers; customer-record and contact information; commercial information; internet or other electronic-network activity; approximate geolocation; audio, visual, or similar content you submit; and inferences drawn from interactions and preferences. We collect these categories from you, your devices, service providers, marketplaces, business partners, and other sources described in Section 2.

We use and disclose these categories for the business and commercial purposes in Sections 3 and 7. We may disclose them to the recipient categories in Section 7. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about a consumer except as permitted by law. Section 6 explains activities that may be considered sale, sharing, or targeted advertising and how to opt out. Section 9 explains our retention criteria.

We do not offer a financial incentive or price or service difference in exchange for personal information unless we provide a separate notice describing the material terms and obtain any required opt-in consent.

14. Marketing communications

You can unsubscribe from promotional email by using the link in the message or contacting contact@oumurs.com. Hong Kong residents may also require OUMURS to stop using their personal data for direct marketing. If OUMURS offers text-message marketing, the sign-up disclosure and consent terms shown at enrollment will apply; consent to marketing is not a condition of purchase. Opting out of marketing does not stop non-promotional messages about orders, accounts, returns, warranties, safety, recalls, or legal notices.

15. Children’s privacy

The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 without legally valid parental consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact contact@oumurs.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action. A parent or guardian should supervise any minor’s product selection and Site use.

16. Reviews, social media, and public content

Information included in a public review, comment, social-media post, or other public submission may be visible to others and may be copied or used outside our control. Do not post contact, payment, medical, identity, or other sensitive information publicly. If you tag OUMURS or interact with our social account, the social network may provide information under its own privacy rules.

17. Third-party links and features

The Services may link to or integrate third-party sites, applications, marketplaces, payment services, or social features. Their privacy practices are not controlled by this policy when they act independently. Review their privacy notices before providing information.

18. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in law, technology, providers, or our practices. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide any additional notice required by law. Material changes apply prospectively unless law permits otherwise.
